Discarded Health Issues, Swelling Edema

January 09, 2009 By: arlene Category: Body Care, Clinic, Eye Care, Health, health supplement

I had the worst experience of some sort eye disease. Monday I found some white spots rising from my eyelashes. On the bottom of these white spots, my skin gradually became redder and redder.

Wednesday morning, when I woke up, I almost couldn’t open my eye. It looked terrible, my eye looked like a mashed berry. When I rushed to bathroom, tried to refresh my eye, the horrible things happened. All these big and red spots started swelling; suddenly my eye is full of pain.

I flied to see my doctor right away. Friday I still hang at house, I already had two days sick leave. I just can’t wait to work.

Later my companion came for a visit. I haven’t known she had been suffering this sickness for years. She told me that once these little spots came on my eyes. They wouldn’t just been healed. Even for months, it could happen again and again. Was that terrible?

Intimate Body Spring Fashion

January 08, 2009 By: arlene Category: Beauty, Fashion

Love our body this spring. Do you feel sexy by wearing something black with shinning floral details? I do.

I used to have a little black lingerie. A simple black intimate wear light up the beautiful skin tone. It also hides cellulite from lazy winter, gives me the slimming outlook.

Maybe a pair of PVC black long tight sock, cozy and sexy.

Or a sexy white butterfly underwear, the perfect bump.

I like to have snow white fur with red fishing net.

A light green “good morning” lingerie, standing in my garden and refreshing my mind.

I might have floral and colorful dream.

Be a little wild and wear a dark color plunge bra, isn’t that sexy?

Or go country style, have a pair of knitting warmer sock.

How about something smoky, that is gorgeous.

Seductive and transparent, hot indeed.

I would like go silky, get rid of the heat. I love silk, keep my skin cool and smooth. Read the rest of this entry →

The Pleasure and Nutrition Principle

January 04, 2009 By: arlene Category: Cookery, Diet, Home, Love, Nutrition

It may seem unusual to start a section on good nutrition with a plea for delicious food on your table. But it’s far too easy to fall into the trap of talking about nutrition as if it were only quantities of proteins, milligrams of numbered vitamins, units of minerals, and altogether a dry table of contents for the human body, used to correct deficiencies, control diseases and cure weight problems. Obesity Weight Loss, Live Lightly, and Health Everyday

December 29, 2008 By: arlene Category: Beauty, Cellulite, Cosmetic Surgery, Diet, Nutrition, Weight Control

I love pitta, doughnuts, pasta, cheese, butter and cake. Since I got married, life was comfortable and convenient, I had a big house and close to work and all facilities.

My weight seemed more comfortable than my life. I used to be 59kg and nice figure. 3 year’s time, I turned huge. My weight was 118kg. I just couldn’t believe myself.

I love shopping clothes. Since my body fitted nothing, shopping turned out humiliating. When I put on the clothes I carefully picked, I looked like a blooming bulb in the mirror.

My fat cheek, protuberant belly, and cellulite I hate it!

I tried different kind of dieting pills. It just didn’t work. Each time I was starving like a hell. I couldn’t just live on any kind of fruit or veggies. After 6 months weight losing trail, instead of losing weight, I gained 2 more kilograms.

I hided myself from my favorite places: malls, clubs, pubs, even my baby kindergarten. I really felt embarrassed of myself. Read the rest of this entry →

Health Attention, don’t tear your Teeth apart

December 28, 2008 By: arlene Category: Clinic, Health

In theory your teeth should be the easiest parts of your body to keep strong and healthy — they are hard, resistant to damage, protected by the mouth, and most of us have been thoroughly brain-washed by toothpaste ads and dentist’s warnings. Yet in reality, teeth get an enormous amount of wear and tear, and they suffer more than the delicate eyes and ears which appear so vulnerable. Read the rest of this entry →

Beauty and Hair

December 28, 2008 By: arlene Category: Beauty, Hair Care, Massage

Washing you hair is not so much for health as for appearance; six times a year would keep it healthy but probably looking awful. So it really depends on how it is worn, and what you see in the mirror. Try washing it every 6 to 10 days. If it is oily you will need to wash more often, if dry, less. Read the rest of this entry →

Regular Skin Problems and how to Cope with it

Blackheads

These are plugs of sebum or oil which clog the pores and blacken due to oxidation on exposure to the air. They can easily be removed if you take care not to damage the skin which could result in infection. Heat the skin first by applying a hot compress made of 1 tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda to a pint of hot water (as hot as your skin will take). Apply and re-apply the compress to the blackhead areas for about two minutes to open the pores and loosen the material clogging them. Then gently, with the tips of your fingers wrapped in a paper tissue, (not your nails) ease out the plug. Finish off with an application of alcohol or antiseptic cream. Read the rest of this entry →

Fibre, the part of whole grains, fruits and vegetables that is not digestible (the bran in whole wheat or the cellulose in raw fruits and vegetables) is removed in the processing of much of our food. Five years ago you would not have even heard the word fibre mentioned in connection with nutrition. Read the rest of this entry →

Eating Naturally

December 23, 2008 By: arlene Category: Cookery, Diet, Nutrition, Recipes, Skin

Natural foods taste great: red and green salads fresh from the garden, wholegrain bread and fruity jam, a chicken with real chicken taste — no wonder a return to natural foods is one of the most important trends we’ve witnessed in recent years.

Modern progress in preservation, production and processing has certainly added an enormous variety of trouble-free foods to our menus. But it is not all a miracle. Some methods are potentially dangerous to health. Gases are used to ripen and preserve fruits and vegetables. Chemical sprays are applied and fertilizers are spread with alarming casualness over our farm lands. Read the rest of this entry →

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT

Pressure cookers are a useful aid to the good cook, since they make it possible to cook inexpensive cuts of meat in a very short time. They are a form of high-pressure steamer, so you get the benefits of steaming instead of boiling as well. With today’s interest in food gardening, pressure cookers are also useful for preserving bottled fruits and vegetables, and sterilizing jam and marmalade jars. Buy a good solid model, and follow directions carefully. Read the rest of this entry →

Great Shade Fashion Designers’ Sunglasses

December 22, 2008 By: arlene Category: Eye Care, Fashion

The sweet gifts I would like to send my friends this Christmas is a pair of my favorite sunglasses. Right now I am in Africa on holiday. The sun is just right on my head. It becomes brighter and brighter. The sun really blurs my eyes. Without proper sunglasses, I find it is quite hard to drive and hangout enjoying the beautiful nature view.

Equip myself with a good quality to protect my eyes from the hash sunlight is not easy, especially in African wild nature land. I can’t just fly back to the big city for a pair of good quality sunglasses. I have tried a few pair I used to wear on my journey. They work properly for me on the city, but not on the wildness.

It is a big mass for me to forget the hash sunlight which is already to blow my African holiday. The lucky thing is I had my laptop with me all the time. When I complained sunglasses on line with my girlfriend, she gave me the smart solution. I have forgotten she had been Africa for several times. I had to say she was full of experience.
