Create a win-win Relationship

April 10, 2009 By: arlene Category: Love, Women 4 Comments →

It is the nature of every man, woman and child to expand, to explore, to celebrate life and to express oneself. Too often, however, as our core energy flows forth, it gets blocked. Why? In a small part because we pick up a lot of misguided notions as we grow up. They come from parental training, from religion, from school. Then, unbeknown to us, they become part of our belief system, our worldview, and limit our lives in a thousand ways. (more…)

April 06, 2009 By: arlene Category: Anti Wrinkle, Cosmetic, Hair Care, Home, Japan, Love 6 Comments →

THIS: Imagine you have a companion who has just come to Earth. She is your age, but without your experience. It’s your job to care for her with all the love and compassion you would give a child, a best friend or an animal you cherish. She needs a name, so you give her your own with ‘San‘ added at the end, for example ‘Kara-San‘. (In Japanese the suffix ‘San‘ is a way of showing respect.) (more…)

Aroma, Vibration working on Mind and Body

March 18, 2009 By: arlene Category: Beauty, Cosmetic, Love, Romance, UK, Women 6 Comments →

The human ear may be ‘deaf to high and low frequency sound, but as every physicist knows, it does not mean they do not exist, nor that we cannot be affected by them. Similarly, as discovered at Warwick, we can respond both physically and emotionally to highly diluted fragrances, even though we may not be able to smell them. Could it be that we are responding to the subtle vibration of the aroma? If so, we might compare this to the action of homoeopathic and Bach Flower Remedies. These remedies are so highly diluted that only the energy pattern or vibration of the original medicinal material remains in the lactose tablet (homoeopathy) or the liquid (Bach Flowers). Yet if the correct remedy is chosen, the healing effect on both body and mind can be remarkable — and I can testify to this. (more…)

My Little Sunny Sunday Day Dress

March 12, 2009 By: arlene Category: Fashion, Love 5 Comments →

I always enjoyed the Sunny Sunday afternoons in the church with my mom and neighbors drinking a cup of tea. My mom’s favorite Sunday dress was a blue background silk skirt with the beautiful rosy flowering edge. At the six o’clock, we prayed and sang. There was an old piano standing on the corner of church. My aunt played that piano for years, and everybody in the neighborhood loved her music. I thought music would be one reason that people dressed well to attend the church on the Sunday afternoons.

In my opinion, modern fashion has brought so much to our dressing style. I thought my mom old style something tight something silk skirt won’t appear in the church any more. Modern fashion dress has changed our conservative style to open style fashion to show the sexy feminine beauty. (more…)

Developing a simple lovely blend Perfume Fragrance Theme

March 04, 2009 By: arlene Category: Cosmetic, Romance, Women 4 Comments →

Broadly speaking, there are four families of scent — floral, chypre, green and oriental — though most will have overtones of another as well. Each family has its own fascination and will appeal to a particular personality or a particular mound.

Floral: A simple blend created to emanate a single floral note such as rose or neroli, or a harmonious bouquet without any particular flower predominating — essentially feminine. (more…)

An Unnatural Obsession

February 12, 2009 By: arlene Category: Love, Slim, Weight Control 7 Comments →

The neurosis about fat and the fear of fleshiness unfortunately make many people very ill. Anorexia nervosa and bulimia are both forms of eating disorders related to social pressure. However, the urge to be slim does not seem to be at the root of these problems. (more…)

Prepare for Last Moment, Which would you do without?

Awareness of death makes us less fearful by desensitizing us to the idea. As a result, we grow bolder, take more risks. Love Attitudes, Forever Happiness

February 05, 2009 By: arlene Category: Family, Happiness, Love 7 Comments →

How you respond to other people will dictate how they respond to you. One wife said to her husband, “I’m not a grouch; I’ve just been in a bad mood for forty years.”

I get an attitude going to the airport. On one occasion I checked my luggage in at the Washington DC airport and saw mistletoe tied over the luggage rack. I asked the attendant behind the desk, “Why is that mistletoe tied to that luggage rack?” (more…)

The Pleasure and Nutrition Principle

January 04, 2009 By: arlene Category: Cookery, Diet, Home, Love, Nutrition 7 Comments →

It may seem unusual to start a section on good nutrition with a plea for delicious food on your table. But it’s far too easy to fall into the trap of talking about nutrition as if it were only quantities of proteins, milligrams of numbered vitamins, units of minerals, and altogether a dry table of contents for the human body, used to correct deficiencies, control diseases and cure weight problems.
