Are you frustrated because you cannot put your ideas into practice?
Many artists, writers, painters, healers and sensitive, creative people are prone to daydreaming and flights of fantasy. They find it hard to relate to everyday life and practical tasks and often their good ideas never take form. If you are one of these people, you can use your home environment to help you to become more practical and action-orientated.
If you are a person who lives mostly in your mind, you will require spiritual grounding and connection with the earth. The earth is the element which gives us motivation and stamina and literally ‘brings us down to earth‘. This element also draws us into our physical body, so that we can put our ideas and plans into action.
The color of the earth is red, and this includes all earthy colors like ochre, sienna, terracotta, peach and apricot, rusts and nutty browns. These colors will enhance your earth connection. Natural objects made of earth or clay can also be used for grounding. These stimulate your physical senses and pull you down out of your mind. Some people might think this a bad thing, but earthy tones and furnishings provide you with strength and motivate you to follow your star.
