Making Time to Read
Make reading a priority in your life, and you will be amazed at what you will gain. Books can literally change your life: as you read, you grow! Reading can open up a world of imagination; it can challenge, motivate and inspire you. Reading gets you thinking!
There are millions of books out there and any one of them has the potential to transform and enlighten your life. We love to get lost in a great novel - such escapism does wonders when life is busy - yet our favorite reads are books that challenge us to think about how we are living our lives: motivational real-life stories, personal-growth books and all books related to health and well-being. There is so much to learn - it’s exciting.
Mark Twain once said: ‘The person who does not read good books has no advantage over the person who can’t read them: Take advantage of the wonderful bookstores and libraries around, which offer a world of knowledge and enjoyment. Try joining a book club - or start one yourself. This is a great way to learn about good books and share them with like-minded people. It’s a wonderful social activity.

It has been said that reading for 15 minutes a day will change your life. ‘Where do I find another 15 minutes?’ you ask. Here are a few suggestions:
1. Be selective about what you watch on television: it can be such a time waster. Choose to read instead.
2. Wake up 15 minutes earlier and start your day off by reading.
3. Schedule a 15-minute break in your day to sit down and pick up that book.
4. A good book and a warm bath - bliss!
